Denise joined CERG in February 2023 are completing her undergraduate degree majoring in Marine Ecology in 2022. Her research interests are centred around marine mammal ecology and conservation, and her MSc research focuses on the growth and reproduction of dusky dolphins. 

MSc Project:  Biology of New Zealand dusky dolphin (Lagenorhynchus obscurus)

Supervisors: Prof Karen Stockin & Dr Emma Betty 

This project assesses the biology of New Zealand dusky dolphins, using stranding records and postmortem data to assess growth and reproduction.
